Okamoto Electronics wishes to be the company that can contribute to Super Smart Society (Society 5.0) by providing high-quality unit products, networks, cloud and services to the customer by strengthening our technical capabilities; of course also providing the electronic parts crucial to the Super Smart Society (Society 5.0).
that is why, we have put forward "Take one step together and transform for realizing the super smart society" as the concept of our mid-term management plan starting in 2022. We will become one, and with firm technical capabilities and high quality, we aim to become a company that thinks about the future together with the customers.
What is "Society5.0"?
A human-centered society where economic growth and resolving the social issues coexists by a system which complexly fusions the cyber space (virtual space) and the physical space (reality space)— this was first proposed by Japan in The 5th Science and Technology Basic Plan.
IoT (Internet of Things) will connect all the people and things; more information and knowledge will be shared. By creating new values which did not exist before, issues and challenges could be solved.Through social revolution, or innovation, there will come a society where beyond closed-off feeling, hope is there, a society where there is respect regardless of generation, and a society where each of us are comfortable and can express themselves.
